Garden Cottage

The kitchen is well equipped with all that you need to cook up a feast. There is an AEG electric hob and oven, american-style fridge freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, and dishwasher. Cleaning supplies and dishwasher tablets can be found under the sink. Salt, pepper and olive oil are provided. The adjoining dining room has all the necessary cutlery and crockery, including options for children, a Stokke's chair and highchair are available on request. There is a drying room with a washing machine and plenty of space to dry your walking clothes. An iron and ironing board are also available.

The cosy sitting room has a true Scottish feel and features a wood-burning stove along with a generous basket of wood. Fireguards are provided for children's safety, and extra wood can be purchased from the local garage in Lochcarron. After a day of exploring you can put your feet up and switch on your favourite series or film. The TV is equipped with chromecast and there is a dvd player with plenty of films to choose from too.

Off the kitchen there is a games room with a wee reading nook overlooking the beautiful garden, which is often bustling with local wildlife and birds, while a pool table and a selection of board games provides entertainment for days spent in the cottage.

Upstairs, you'll find two inviting bedrooms one featuring a king-sized bed and the other with twin beds. Each room offers ample storage, along with cozy bed linens and fluffy towels to enhance your relaxation. The spacious family bathroom includes a bath with an overhead shower, and you'll also find locally made luxury cruelty-free body wash, shampoo, and conditioner for your comfort during your stay.

Garden Cottage is aptly named for its placement amongst numerous trees and a large collection of azaleas and rhododendrons. The garden is a quiet and tranquil space that boasts stunning views of the mountains behind. A river flows at the bottom of the garden with waterfalls about 100 meters away from the cottage. There is outdoor seating to enjoy alfresco dining or simply to enjoy a cup of tea whist listening to the birds chirping as they go about their day. There are a range of Munros locally which can be reached by walking from the cottage or with a short drive, as well as some lovely low level walks. Please note that the front garden, waterfall and river area are not fenced off.

You’ll find a tea tray with tea, coffee, and handmade chocolate waiting for you on arrival. You are welcome to arrive from 4pm and we ask you to depart by 10am.

Wild Garden Cottages has a private water supply from an artesian well, which passes through a UV purification system, and provides our cottages with fresh spring water. ​​Garden cottage is also equipped with a whole house heat exchange and air circulation system, and there are security cameras at the entrance gate and where cars are parked.
